Gametime Sports – Game Summary & Recap

The Chicago Bulls improved to 2–0 on the season with a 110–98 road win over the Orlando Magic at Kia Center on October 25, 2025. The game was tightly contested through three quarters, with Chicago holding a slim 83–80 lead heading into the fourth. Ayo Dosunmu sparked the Bulls’ final push, hitting three clutch three-pointers in the fourth quarter, while Jalen Smith added a key triple to stretch the lead to nine. Chicago outscored Orlando 27–18 in the final frame, sealing the win with timely shooting and disciplined defense.
Josh Giddey led the Bulls with 21 points and eight rebounds, showing poise as a floor general and attacking the rim with confidence. Nikola Vučević and Dosunmu each contributed 15 points, with Vučević also grabbing 14 rebounds and dishing out two assists. Smith chipped in 16 points off the bench, one of four Bulls reserves to score in double figures. Chicago shot 48% from the field and hit 10 three-pointers, while committing just 12 turnovers and dominating the glass with 58 total rebounds.
Despite the loss, the Magic showed flashes of promise, particularly from Paolo Banchero, who posted a double-double with 24 points and 10 rebounds. However, Banchero struggled with efficiency, shooting just 7-for-21 from the field. Rookie Anthony Black impressed with 19 points, and Franz Wagner added 17, but Orlando’s offense sputtered late. The team shot just 39% overall and a woeful 12.5% from three-point range (3-for-24), missing key opportunities to stay within striking distance.
Orlando fell to 1–2 on the season, hampered by cold shooting and a lack of ball movement in the fourth quarter. The Bulls, meanwhile, showcased depth and composure, with their bench contributing 58 points and their defense holding the Magic to just 18 points in the final period. Both teams will look to build on their early-season performances, with Chicago hosting Atlanta next and Orlando heading to Philadelphia. If this game is any indication, the Bulls are finding their rhythm, while the Magic continue to develop their young core.
